Everyone can learn to paint watercolors, and most often, they learn it much faster than they imagine. This course is relevant for those who want to acquire some basic skills in watercolor painting. The instruction is tailored to beginners and those with light experience. The focus is on color theory, brush techniques, composition, and how to build a painting, from sketching a subject to layering colors.

It’s a hands-on course, where you are thrown right into it. No previous experience is needed, but having a positive approach to learning and growth through experience, experimentation, and mistakes is important and considered an integral part of the learning process in this course!

We start by painting the same subjects, but as the course progresses, participants are encouraged to choose their own subjects and add personal and creative elements to their paintings.

*The course caters to both Danish and English-speaking students.

*Prices include the use of basic materials such as a palette, pencil, special brushes, ruler, eraser, kitchen roll, drawing board, etc.

*You need to bring your own watercolor paints, a watercolor paper pad, and at least one watercolor brush.
